Obituary of Andrew P. Palma

Mr. Andrew P. Palma died on Friday February 10, 2012. He was 76 years old. Mr. Palma was born and raised in Brooklyn. He lived in Edison and Metuchen before moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 1998. He served in the US Army and was a devoted employee of Ford Motor Co. in Edison for 44 years before his retirement in 2004. He was a former officer and retiree of UAW Union Local 980. He was chairman of the board of 'Andy's Poker Group,' a member of the billiard club of Clearbrook, and an avid golfer with one career hole-in-one. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Judy (Zerler) Palma of Clearbrook, Monroe Twp., one daughter, Maureen Yunker and her husband John of Edison, four sons, Philip Palma and his wife Machelle of Warner Robbins, GA, Matthew Palma and his wife Dawn of Warner Robbins, GA, David Ernay and his wife Darcy of Exton, PA, and Marc Ernay and his wife Marni of Little Ferry, NJ, his father-in-law, Paul Zerler of Monroe Twp., one sister-in-law, Terry Palma, ten grandchildren, Danielle, Andrew, Stephen, Summer, Shelly, Ashley, Brian, Amos, Tyler, and Elena, one great grandson, Kaleb, and several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am Monday February 13, 2012 from the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, Monroe Twp. followed by entombment in Franklin Memorial Park Mausoleum, North Brunswick. Visitation will be Sunday from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
