Obituary of Natalia E. Petrocelli

Mrs. Natalia E. (Escorcia) Petrocelli died Sunday January 29th at St. Peter's University Medical Center, New Brunswick. She was 68 years old.
Born in Managua, Nicaragua, she came to the US in 1962 and lived in Flushing, Queens for 10 years, then New York City and Lake Carmel, NY before moving to Greenbrier in Monroe Township in 1999.
After graduating from Hunter College in New York City, she had a 20 year career in international banking with several New York City banking institutions, including Irving Trust, retiring in 1989. Upon moving to Greenbrier, she became active with the Bridge Club and enjoyed practicing yoga. She was a member of St. James RCC and the Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Ronald J., a daughter, Coralia Escorcia of Woodbridge, three step sons, Joseph Petrocelli and his wife, Lisa of Jamesburg, John W. Petrocelli of NYC, NY, and James M. Petrocelli and his wife, Laura of Norwood, NJ, her mother, Maria (Saborio) Escorcia of Monroe Township, a brother, Felix Escorcia of Woodbridge and five grandchildren, Kristin, Amanda, Lauren, James and Louis.
Funeral services will be 10am Thursday from M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30am at St. James RCC, Jamesburg. Committal will follow at Holy Cross Crematory Chapel South Brunswick. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
