Obituary of Sanford Robinson

Mr. Sanford Robinson died on Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Cranbury Center in Monroe Twp. He was 88 years old. Mr. Robinson was born in Jersey City and lived most of his life in New York, including 28 years in Jackson Heights, Queens, before moving to The Ponds, Monroe Twp. in 1994. He served in the US Army during WWII and was involved in the North African and Italian Theaters. He was a sales representative for Litton Industries in Long Island, NY and retired in 1982.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Inge (Meyer) Robinson of The Ponds, Monroe Twp., his daughter, Sandra Robinson and her husband David Shucavage of Wilmington, NC, his sister-in-law, Doris Robinson of Nanuet, NY, two granddaughters, Samantha Shucavage and Katie Shucavage, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A funeral service will be 11:00am on Saturday January 28, 2012 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. A private cremation will follow the service. A gathering of friends and relatives will be 9:00am to 11:00am on Saturday at the funeral home.
