Obituary of Rose Balducci

Mrs. Rose (Tiseo) Balducci past peacefully on Saturday morning at her home with her three daughters by her side. She was 85 years old. Rose was Born in Long Island City, Queens NY. Rose lived in Queens for most of her life, and then moved to Old Bridge in 1992.
Fifteen years of Rose's life was spent serving her community while being part owner of the Whitestone Bowling Alley, Food Concession located in Queens, NY. Later she worked in shipping and receiving for Gelmart Industries, in College Point, NY. Later on Rose retired in 1992. While living in New Jersey Rose attended Calvary Chapel of Old Bridge.
Rose's true joy came from being a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Rose will be remembered for her passion for cooking and serving all of her families needs. She was a kind and understanding person who befriended all who she came in contact with. In her later years, she spent time at her daughters' music stores, and greeted all students and customers with a smile and a kind word encouraging the new learners of music. She was helpful to everyone, even those she didn't know.
Her husband, Peter died in 1979. Surviving are three daughters, Geraldine Babb of Calverton, NY, Carol Balducci of Lakewood NJ, and Donna Balducci of Princeton NJ, two brothers, Joseph Tiseo, of Astoria, NY and John Tiseo, of Valley Stream, NY. Rose is also survived by her three loving grandchildren, Jesse, William, and Rosemarie.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Township. A funeral service will be held at 8:30pm. Interment will take place at Fernwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
