Giuseppe Spano – Monroe Township, NJ

Giuseppe Spano, 75, died on Monday April 1, 2019 at his residence in Monroe Township, NJ.  Giuseppe was born and raised in Militello, Sicily; he resided in Long Island, NY from 1969 to 2001 and has been a resident of New Jersey since 2002.  Giuseppe was a custom cabinet maker and was a master at his craft.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. 

Giuseppe is preceded in death by his parents, Francesco and Giuseppina (Berzi) Spano his brother, Gaetano Spano and his sister, Rosa Spica.

Giuseppe is survived by his loving wife, Grazia (Urfalino) Spano of Monroe Township, NJ, his children; Anthony Spano and his wife Gail of Atlantic Highlands, NJ, Franco Spano of May Landing, NJ, Josephine Spano of East Meadow, NY, his grandchildren; Victoria and Joseph Spano and his sister, Francesca Ventrici of Catania, Sicily. 

Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday April 4, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555.  Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Friday from the funeral home.  A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am Friday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, NJ  08831 followed by Entombment in Holy Cross Burial Park Mausoleum, South Brunswick.
