Joseph D. LaRosa Sr., 82, of Monroe Twp. passed away on Sunday, January 20th 2019, after fighting Mesothelioma. He was born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ. Upon graduating from New Brunswick High School he was employed by Johns Manville Company. He later proudly served his country during his enlistment with the US Army upon being honorably discharged in 1962. He returned to New Brunswick, then lived in Edison for 4 years before moving to Monroe Twp. in 1970. He was employed with Bristol Myers Squibb for over 30 years before retiring in 1998.
Joseph loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening and landscaping with his wife. He also loved to go fishing with his children and grandchildren.
Joseph is predeceased by his mother Genevieve Paralusz and his loving wife of 52 years, Sara E. LaRosa.
He is survived by his daughter, Rochelle La Rosa Fennell and her husband Myles of Monroe Twp., his son, Joey LaRosa of Monroe Twp. and four grandchildren: Liam and Lindsay Fennell and Joey and Amanda LaRosa.
