Obituary of Francesco Mesto

Francesco (Frank) Mesto passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at Bartley Healthcare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jackson. He was 81 years old. Mr. Mesto was born and raised in New York City. He lived in Brooklyn and Staten Island for many years before moving to Renaissance at Monroe in Monroe Twp. in 2005. He proudly served in the US Army and was a salesman his entire career working for several employers including Kanzaki Corp. He retired in 2002. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and spent many years as a little league manager. He was a die-hard New York Yankees fan, was a lover of Frank Sinatra, and was a member of the Italian American Club of the Renaissance at Monroe. Frank was a true people person and enjoyed joking around with friends and family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Domenica (Pitrone) Mesto of Renaissance at Monroe, Monroe Twp., two children, Frank Mesto of Monroe Twp., and Marisa Marino and her husband Robert of Freehold, one sister, Pia Albanese of Staten Island, three grandchildren, Victoria, Julianna, and Avamarie Marino, and many other loving family members. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am on Saturday at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 followed by Entombment in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.
