Obituary of Catherine Malanaphy

Catherine Friemann Malanaphy, 93, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away on Sunday January 6, 2019 at Cranbury Center. Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Friemann. She was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School Class of 1943. Catherine was employed by Brunswick Bank and Trust for many years. Catherine is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph Malanaphy, her brother William Friemann, sisters, Joan Kenny and Patricia Van Demark. Catherine is survived by her six children; Kathleen Connolly of Milltown, NJ, Peggy Malanaphy of Milltown, NJ, Patrick Malanaphy of Freehold, NJ, Joanne Simone and her husband Frank of Monroe Township, NJ, Maureen Bartlett of Ashburn, VA, Shaun Malanaphy of Monroe Township, NJ, sister, Phyllis Frost of Levittown, PA, twelve grandchildren; Patrick, Jr., Stacey, Joseph, Holly, Gerard, Michael, Christopher, Jennifer, Michelle, Sean, Kaitlyn, Ryan, twenty three great grandchildren and many extended family members. Visitation will be 6-9pm on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc. - 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831 - 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 8:45am on Thursday January 10, 2019 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 9:30am on Thursday at St. Bartholomew RC Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick, NJ 08816 followed by interment in Holy Cross Burial Park - South Brunswick.
