Art was my friend and guitar teacher in the early 1970s. He was an incredible guitarist, a kind man and a very good friend. He drove a vintage Cadillac which suited him greatly. We lost touch and I have often wondered what happened to him.
Rest in peace, dear Artie.

Arthur,
We fought, we argued, we disagreed, but we were brothers. That's the way it is with brothers. But we would always have each other's back. We also had some great memories together. You will be missed, little brother. We both knew we loved each other. You are now safe. Rest in peace.

I will miss you Uncle Arthur. You were a big part of my childhood, especially my teen years after my mom passed. You provided me with an escape in Barbados for many summers, and always had a listening ear and wise words to offer when I called to speak with you guys oversees. You taught me to think outside the box, and fostered my love for adventure and travel. I will miss hearing you philosophize on everything; you always had such an interesting perspective. Thanks for introducing me to so many great bands. I still have the Eric Clapton CD you gave me many moons ago. To this day, every time I hear it, I think of you. It broke my heart to watch you have to endure all you did these past few years. Your suffering is over, be at peace.

Daddy,
Where do i start?
You were so full of life, so rambunctious, so unapologetic for who you were and what you stood for. Growing up you taught me to be inquisitive - never leave a stone unturned. You are the reason for who I am today and I thank you for that. You taught me how to ride my bicycle when we lived in Mt. Stanfast, you bought me my first razor when Mummy didnt want me to shave, and i remember all the car rides blazing Queens and the Beatles - Sgt Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band CD over....and over...and over again. I will miss our conversations the most. We use to talk about space, time travel and the Galapagos Islands, life decisions you told me not to rush and was supportive of, provided a ear and a shoulder to cry on when I needed it.
Daddy, you were my best friend.
I was Daddy's bestest buddy in the whole wide world and Daddy was Dana's bestest buddy in the whole wide world. For that I thank you for giving me everything I could have asked for in a father. Even though I lost my best friend and my first love on Christmas day, i will never forget the memories i have with you. You are such a special person and I know that where ever you are right now must be having a blast because you were the life of the party.
I love you Daddy

Art,
This is so hard for me, saying goodbye to my best friend.
You taught me not to be afraid of going after my dreams, to be spontaneous and to live each day as it were your last, just as you did. You were always a wealth of knowledge on every and any subject; this i admired about you.
I will always remember our once a month pig-out, where we would go under the bridge in Ocean Ave for fresh apple pie and Rocky Road ice-cream where we would lay down in bed and eat it all with 2 spoons. Our spontaneous upstate trips were a blast, which took us on no trespassing government properties, fishing in the lake with peanuts and actually catching fish; our time together you made sure it was filled with fun and laughter.
I will and can never forget you mostly because of our daughter, I see so much of you in her, the way she approaches everything in her life, her knowledge for the sciences, her love for adventure all you; so thank you for all you have given us.
You are home with our Father now, enjoy it as you have everything else.
Heather
