Obituary of Andy Bruno

Andrew Bruno passed away on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at NYU Langone Health in New York City. He was 53 years old. Andy was born and raised in Brooklyn. He lived in Old Bridge for seven years before moving to Monroe Twp. in 2003. He was a pharmacist and worked in a retail setting during his career. While employed as a pharmacist, he took great pride in counseling patients suffering with diabetes. He was a true family man and was always involved in his sons sports including coaching baseball and basketball. Andy had a tremendous sense of humor which brought laughter and smiles to all who met him. He was a self-taught drummer inspired by his favorite band, The Who. He enjoyed watching his favorite teams, the Mets and the Los Angeles Rams, but above all else he cherished the time spent with his family. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Frank and Josephine (Linarello) Bruno. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Susan (White) Bruno of Monroe Twp., two sons, Andrew N. Bruno and Anthony G. Bruno, both of Monroe Twp., three siblings, Frank Bruno and his wife Glorianne of Manalapan, Judy Williams and her husband Glenn of Staten Island, NY, and Philip Bruno and his wife Theresa of Manalapan, his father-in-law and his mother-in-law, Robert and Evelyn (Ward) White, and many other extended family members and friends. Visitation will be from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Friday, December 21, 2018 at the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, Inc., 205 Rhode Hall Rd., Monroe Twp., NJ 08831, 732-521-0555. Funeral services will begin at 9:30am on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from the funeral home. A funeral liturgy will be 10:15am on Saturday at Immaculate Conception RC Church, 23 Manalapan Rd., Spotswood, NJ 08884 followed by Entombment in St. Gabriel's Cemetery Mausoleum, Marlboro.
