John Cunningham Teahan - Monroe Township, NJ John Cunningham Teahan (also known as “Jack”) died on Saturday December 15, 2018 in Plainsboro, NJ. Jack was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 16, 1933; he attended St. John’s Prep, St. John’s University and graduated from the City University of New York with a degree in Civil Engineering. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1955, achieving the rank of Sergeant before his honorable discharge. Jack retired as president of National Acoustics Inc. after a thirty year career. He was an active member of the Rossmoor Men's Club where he assisted with the food pantry and was a member of the Rossmoor golf club. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eileen M. Teahan; his brother, James Teahan; and his sister Mary Ellen Hennessy. Jack is survived by his daughters, Kathleen Spiegler and her husband David of NY, NY; Jacqueline Valesko and her husband Stephen of Clayton, NC; his sisters, Margaret Tyson of Deer Park, NY; Bernadette Teahan of NY, NY; Ann Marie Wilson of Fort Wayne, IN; and his grandchildren, Joseph Valesko of Charleston, SC; Kelly Spiegler of Astoria, NY; Matthew Valesko of Arlington, VA and Timothy Spiegler of NY, NY. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Friday December 21, 2018 at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, NJ. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, and for those who desire, memorial donations can be made to Nativity of Our Lord RC Church.
