Nicholas Burduck passed away on Monday September 17, 2018 at Penn Medicine Princeton Health in Plainsboro. He was 92 years old. Mr. Burduck was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and resided there until moving to Clearbrook, Monroe Twp. in 2010. He served in the US Army during WWII. He was a carpenter in the International Union of and also worked for Bankers Trust in New York City until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of American Legion Post 1771 in Brooklyn. During his service in the US Army, he was involved in Military Intelligence Training. He enjoyed playing the harmonica and the accordion. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Barbara (Zilinski) Burduck, two daughters, Nina Visich and her husband George of Brooklyn, NY, and Nancy Dempsey of Brooklyn, NY, one step-daughter, Cynthia Bailey and her husband Richard of Millstone Twp., one brother, John Burduck of Queens, NY, two grandchildren, Ethan Bailey, and Ryan Bailey, and many other extended family members. A private Cremation took place under the direction of the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Rd. Monroe Twp., NJ 08831. Interment of Nicholas’s cremated remains will take place at 2:00pm on Friday September 28, 2018 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd. Wrightstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers and for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org.
